About LinkSnap

LinkSnap exists because we got tired of paying $29/mo to shorten a URL.

We're developers who needed a URL shortener for docs, changelogs, marketing pages, and automation workflows. Every existing option either locked core features behind expensive tiers, was built on abandoned PHP stacks, or didn't have a CLI.

So we built our own. LinkSnap is a developer-first URL shortener with custom slugs, real analytics (not paywalled), link expiry controls, and a proper CLI that you can pipe, script, and automate with.

Our principles

• Analytics should be free. Referrer, geo, device, time-series — on all tiers. Knowing who clicks your links isn't a premium feature.
• CLIs should be first-class. Not an afterthought. Not a wrapper around a web API with missing features. Every operation available from the terminal.
• No vendor lock-in. Export everything as CSV or JSON. Import from Bitly. Your data is yours.
• Transparent pricing. IDR pricing for our market. Monthly billing. No hidden fees. No forced annual plans. Cancel anytime.
